Elfin Cottage Books

I took my time studying Blueberry’s illustration styles, looking for a “naïve” style that I felt would suit Elfin Cottage, and an artist who depicted action in a way I liked. I was very pleased with the experience of working with the artist I chose to bring my vision to the pages. Hoping to work with the same illustrator on the sequel, Elzmay’s Wish for Wings, starring the spirited sister elf. Here’s a thumbnail of the plot:

A butter-fingered tooth fairy, a foolhardy little girl elf and a philosophical worm team up to retrieve a lost coin from a pond inhabited by a big, hungry fish.  This one introduces Ruth, the human child who lives in the house in the garden.
